We are seeking for a Tender Engineer to join the tender team for offshore projects of transport and installation of Wind Turbine Generators around the world.
As a Tender Engineer, you will take part in the acquisition process of DEME’s global offshore projects “tendering”. You will play a key role in the preparation and submission of tender proposals to our clients. As a member of the Tender Department, you will be allocated to one or several tender teams with a Tender Manager in charge, so you will be working closely with many different people. Together, we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.
This position is based at our DEME Offshore Office in Fredericia, Denmark, and we expect you to join the office, but working from home from time to time is of course an option.
DEME's Water injection dredger Dhamra is operating in German waters. The skipper is the head of the watch and performs the dredging duties with the jets, respecting the requirements of the client. You are the point of contact for the local authorities, communicating in German. The skippers of Dhamra work in a 4 weeks on, 4 weeks of system, but flexibility is required.
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of our offshore projects. You will collaborate with employees of all nationalities and disciplines and you might work on board of our vessels, on the project site or in one of our offices. As a Technical Superintendent you will work in an environment that strongly encourages innovation and will give you the responsibility to make an operational difference. Due to the challenging environment in which you are dealing with heavy equipment, complex installations and project deadlines, there is a steep learning curve in various technical fields. You will have the possibility to work abroad all around the world on challenging projects and have a real impact on them.
As a Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works on site. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues.
We are currently looking for an experienced Works Manager who can manage (large) offshore installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.
