The streets of Antwerp were transformed into a sea of DEME green yesterday as nearly 400 colleagues and their families proudly represented our colors at the Baloise Antwerp 10 Miles running event.
The course offered a truly unique perspective, taking runners right over a section of the Oosterweel works, where DEME plays a key role in construction. Adding an extra layer of fun and excitement, two of our colleagues even took on the challenge dressed as our mascots.
Despite the warm weather conditions making the event more challenging, the cheers from fellow DEME colleagues and thousands of supporters lining the streets fueled the energy of our runners, making it a true sports fest! Congratulations to all our amazing runners, and a big thank you to the supporters who helped them cross the finish line.
While participating in the 10 Miles of Antwerp, all DEME runners contributed to two of the good causes we support: Mercy Ships and Kom op tegen Kanker. Every step truly made a difference!
